“ *For take-out order* I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Despite what some folks have shared in other reviews, these tacos were a good size and were very tasty. I particularly liked their to go boxes which made it easy to transport and retain the quality of the taco. They do have a pick 8 option which I thought was nice if you wanted options. I would note that these are on the pricier side. I would be interested in eating there in person next time. ”

“ First time here and it was a cute little spot. Very trendy, photo op kind of vibe. Great spot for like a brunch/lunch. We started off with the Shrimp Aguachile and your classic guac and chips. I have to say the apps was on point. Just a heads up when you do order the shrimp aguachile it comes with chips! so definitely enough for 3-4 people alone. Everything was fresh and not too heavy. Chips were fresh! and not stale like many places I've tried. As for the main we had to try their Birria Tacos. Instead of giving you the broth they thickened it to almost a saucy dip which isn't such a bad idea. Almost like a thickened consommé which was a plus. Their carne asada tacos had a smoky grilled like taste to it which was good. I would probably say the baja fish was disappointing. The only tacos where the fish had 0 depths of flavor. I was a bit surprise since all their other dishes were so fresh and flavorful. Service was top notch and food was good. It was a bit on the pricey side though for tacos. I wouldn't put this as my goto spot but for groups or business meetings is a good recommendation. ”

“ Great watermelon margaritas The taco fillings were great. I think the corn tortillas are a bit tough and a touch too thick but that's just me. We tried 8 different kinds and the shrimp and Birria were the faves. The Birria sauce was great but again- the tortilla was too much. Wish it was thinner/softer. I'd go back if in the area but there are lots of other great options for tacos on Long Island. ”

“ I recently went to Tulum Tacos and Tequila, and I had a really good time there! The food was awesome--those tacos were super tasty and fresh. The staff was nice and helpful, which made everything feel a bit more relaxed. The service was great; we never had to wait long for anything. I also liked the decor inside; it looked really nice and was clean, which is always a good thing. If you're looking for good tacos, I'd definitely recommend Tulum Tacos and Tequila. “ Located in the old Friendly's building. We arrived with a group of about 10 - no reservation and were seated right away. The service was fast and everyone was kind. My group really enjoyed the ambiance which was very tropical. They also have outdoor dining. It was my friend birthday and they came over and sang happy birthday - which was very nice. The food was great - we tried a bit of everything. The portions are also very big - I took most of my meal home. The ceviche was so fresh - as was everything else. A must visit if in the area. ”

“ Not sure why these reviews are so low, cause this place is fabulous. I came here this past weekend with a friend and her elderly mother (who was in a wheelchair). Let me first start by saying that they are very accommodating of people in wheelchairs or with disabilities. Additionally, they have a very spacious parking lot and a convenient area to enter and exit with the wheelchairs. Now, the decor of the place is absolutely lovely! I am a stickler for ambience and decor and this place has done an exceptional job fusing a chic, modern aesthetic with a Mexican-type vibe. It's very clean and aerated. The service was also very good! The moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. The hosts and the servers are lovely. Major shout out to our waiter. He really took care of us. Now to the food. ABSOLUTELY delicious. We had the guacamole, hamburger with fries, taco platter (buffalo cauliflower, barbacoa, tequila shrimp, and carnitas). Everything was well cooked and yummy. The taco platter in particular, is enough for two people to share. My burger was very well done. However, I think the hit was the guacamole. We actually had to have two orders of this cause it was that good, and very well presented. All in all excellent experience. We did have one mishap. We had parked our car in the lot, and unfortunately someone scratched up our car while we were eating inside. We informed the staff and the owner, I believe, who let us know he would follow up on this matter for us. So this is just to show you that they do really care for their customers. ”

“ As someone said in a prior review; "This place seems like a lot of fun to hang out." It is! This shop is very conveniently located on Jericho Tpke across the street from the Jericho Terrace. Very easy in and out with a nice big parking lot. They have ample seating inside at tables and space by the bar. They also expanded the outdoor seating area and did a major renovation to the Friendly's that once occupied this space. Food was terrific... We started with a nacho appetizer and went straight to a plate of three tacos; fish, beef and meatball. Everything was fresh-tasty and the serving size was ample. Good savory food. Pricing is very fair, they have a happy hour and this is definitely a place that people come just to hang out and laugh. That... is fun to see. There is a lot of electricity in this shop and they have a great friendly team here. I will definitely call this place a new-tendy spot. KUDOs to the team at Tulum Tacos and Tequila ”

“ This place is fun, super loud and definitely a good spot for your girlfriends. It's probably too loud for a first date but definitely a fun spot for a few dates in. The restaurant is trendy yet casual. The hostess is accommodating despite being busy and is mindful of reservations and seating. The food is made well and the presentation is neat and social media friendly. The nachos are a generous portion and layered well so there's hardly a chip without a topping, the kale salad is balanced nicely and it light yet filling. My skinny margarita was fantastic none of that fake sour mix. Our flan was wonderful, rich in caramel flavor, portioned correctly and creamy in texture. It's pricey but I would return. My only criticism here is after the bussed our plates when asked for a container "to go" and some extra dressing the server went back to our collected dishes and took out the remaining dressing and gave us a container instead of getting some from the kitchen. It's pictured below, I'm not sure if was an inconvenience, if there was an up charge I would have gladly paid. It was odd to fish it out of our bussed plates. ”
